Hello, and thanks for stopping by my blog! My name is Amy and I live in Portland, Oregon. I have been vegan since 2006 and couldn’t be happier with my choice for compassionate living. While it is true that Portland is overflowing with vegan dining options, I much prefer to cook at home with my partner, Tim. Our kitchen is tiny but we still manage to create delicious, healthy vegan meals. Baking, grocery shopping, meal planning, and cookbook reading bring me great joy.
Outside of the kitchen, I spend my time backpacking, reading, taking photographs, snowshoeing, biking, sewing, traveling, and bird watching. I also work part-time for a pretty sweet vegan company and I love it!!
You might be wondering why I chose the name TahiniToo for my blog. Well, I absolutely love tahini! A LOT. It is one of my favorite ingredients to use in the kitchen. I make my own tahini from scratch which saves me money so I can buy things like Newman O’s! Win-win!
