Wow, this year is disappearing incredibly fast! I had all these plans to maximize the bounty of summer and didn’t succeed in accomplishing each and every one. But, there is always next year, right?! Right now I am focused on fully embracing the cozy meals that pair so nicely with cold, wet, cloudy weather. I plan on making plenty of soups, stews, casseroles, breads, and baked treats in the upcoming weeks – most of which will be featured on my blog for Vegan MoFo 2010. Get excited!
Last year I approached Vegan MoFo with a unique theme: I used the letters of the alphabet to create my posts (ex. “A is for Apples”, “B is for Brownies”). It worked really well because it challenged me and made posting EVERY day enjoyable. I will be doing the same thing this year, adding in some extra fun here and there to make up the remaining days.
Since today is Day #1, I figured I’d begin with a celebratory photo of a tasty sweet treat:

Hi Kiersten! If cupcakes traveled well via USPS I would totally mail you some! I don’t have a publisher for my book yet, but I am hoping to have it released some time around August of next year.
