Tim and I went to a benefit movie night on Sunday organized by Food Fight and made a few dozen cupcakes for people to eat. Other kind folks made tasty cupcakes to share as well (thanks, they were really good!!). What’s more fun than eating yummy vegan cupcakes and watching a funny movie? Not much! And, considering I had never seen Billy Madison, I thoroughly enjoyed myself.
We ended up making three kinds of cupcakes: Pumpkin with Cinnamon Cream Cheese Frosting, Mexican Hot Chocolate Cupcakes with Chocolate Ganache, and Rootbeer Float Cupcakes with Vanilla Frosting.

Here is the pumpkin cupcake with the Mexican Hot Chocolate cupcake in the background.
wowzers! all those cuppers sound so great. I like the idea of pumpkin cupcakes with cinnamon cream cheese frosting! And just today I was remembering that I have still never made Hannah’s root beer cupcakes. Honestly! What is the problem? A cupcake + movie party sounds super fun. :)
Oh my! Root beer float?! That sounds amazing…
pumpkin, rootbeer, and mexican hot chocolate cuppies + billy madison = the best! i haven’t seen that movie in years, although dan never fails to quote it (pretty much every day. ah ha ha!). what a delicious & fun way to help out food fight, Amy! that rocks!
YUMMY YUMMY YUMMY! What an awesome way to spend a Sunday.
:)
Ah they look amazing.
I love billy madison, my friend and I used to email each other random quotes from it all the time, I need to dig it out I think!
STOP LOOKING AT ME SWAN!!!!!

Your cupcakes look delicious! That sounds like a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
Those Mexican Hot Chocolate ones are calling my name! After trying Isa’s Hot Chocolate Snickerdoodles I realized how awesome the combination of chocolate and chili can be.
the cream cheese frosting looks awesome!
yay to the cupcakes. we couldn’t attend the movie, ‘cuz dazee’s parents were in town. glad you got one of my cupcakes though, hope it was OK. i hate baking without getting to taste!

I hate baking w/o getting to taste too, which is why each of the dozen I made had one missing! Your cupcakes were yummy, and fun with the explosion of filling!!!
I’m very intrigued by the Root Beer Float cuppies! And I love making Mexican Hot Chocolate cupcakes, too!
Pumpkin cupcakes with cream cheeze frosting sound like heaven. So does a Food Fight movie screening. Jealous!
